Hello,
This has been bugging me for a while, so thought I would post to see if it's a known issue.
Previously when connected to a Windows machine via xfreerdp (or remmina) special keys such as alt+tab or the windows key would be forwarded to the remote machine.
This is no longer happening, and special key presses are being executed locally on Gnome instead of on the remote machine.
I'm not sure if it was caused by a Gnome update or something else, and I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting..
I've tried using the aur versions of both FreeRDP and Remmina, but still have the same issue..
Can I have some tips on where to start looking?
Versions :
GNOME Shell 3.22.2
FreeRDP version 2.0.0-dev (git f910bbe)
remmina - Version 1.2.0-rcgit-16

you're likely logging into gnome on wayland (the questionable upstream default...)
try to explicitly log into "gnome on xorg" and see what happens.

Hi Seth,
You were correct, changing to gnome on xorg resolved the issue...
