PCI-E Port Error / No Microphone

Hello, I'm not sure what lists you would like so I'm going to try my best to get what you would need.

Info:
I have previously installed Arch Linux on my computer at home, it's custom built and everything works VERY smoothly! I love it! After using Windows for a while and paying assloads for useless crap on there I decided to change and I don't regret it one bit.
This led me to install Arch Linux on my work laptop, an Asus X555UA, now I already knew this was going to be a bit harder than on my PC since I don't really know the parts inside it however I didn't know that I wasn't going to even be able to find the microphone :I Then turning of spams a message, it freezes when opening some applications etc etc. That kinda sucks, it's useable but I'm just having some issues with it...

Currently Installed Majorish Programs:
XOrg11 | GDM | Gnome | GTK3+ | Custom Gnome Themes | Wine | KDevelop | QTCreator

Error #1 PCI-E Port Receiver Error.

$ journalctl --since=today > errors_journalctl.txt
It ended up being 512MB so I just took a line of it.
This error was repeating at an insane speed on restart or shutdown.

The next issue I am having is with my headphones.
This laptop has a built in headphones jack, the headphones I am using have a built in mic, this is not a USB headset.
I have the following installed for audio:
ALSA | OSS | JACK | Pulse
Pulse is working great for getting the audio to go through my headphones however alsa seems to be insistantly stating that my headphones do not have an mic. Actually it thinks this whole laptop has no mic.

$ nano /etc/modprobe.d/50-alsa.conf

options snd_hda_intel index=1

$ nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-dmic

From here, try adding "pci=nomsi" to your kernel options, and see if it fixes anything — a mic, or, at least, messages.

It ended up being 512MB so I just took a line of it.

The size by default takes some percent of the disk, with the cap of 4G, and eventually you'd end up with that size. You can limit it by writing into /etc/systemd/journald.conf something like

SystemMaxUse=50M

Hello, thanks for the tip with editing SystemMaxUse.
Sadely this did not fix either of my issues, for better visuals of what I am seeing I have taken a screenshot of the command: $ journalctl --since=today -r
I used that command so that the newest was at the top simply to imply that this is not a non-reoccuring error.

Directions were followed as instructed on the post you had given.

It's probably a silly question, but just for the safe case — did you regenerate the grub.cfg after adding the option?

I had entered the one from the link you sent me however it shot out an error. Simply that it doesn't exist which is odd because I do have grub.
I made a weak attempt to try and search for it and I'm sorry for that. I did not find it and simply went with the assumption that it would re-build itself which was a stupid assumption. Do you know by change why it would say 'update-grub' does not exist or is it a similar case in which it's a different command from Ubuntu.

@Hi-Angel Hello, sorry it took me so long, I was off doing something else. I ran: $ grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg from which I restarted and still am encountering the same issues.
