Hi all,
I somehow broke my system. It was rather stupid: I wanted to shut down KDE, but it didn't. So I thought, hey, I could update my system. But during that, the machine decided to do the shutdown (stupid me, I know).
So, when I now try to boot the machine, I get the error message: Failed to start Load Kernel Modules. After a few more messages, the system stops without being able to finish booting (see attached image).
I then booted the arch linux image from USB and tried to reinstall the kernel. But this didn't help. I would be glad if someone has an idea what I else could do.
Thanks a lot.

I had a similar problem after recent update. Machine refused to boot. Output was different than yours, but I remember "Timed out waiting for device" message.
Solved by booting from live CD and downgrading device-mapper and lvm2 packages.

Now I solved it. I had to mount my btrfs-root with subvol=root. Otherwise mounting the boot partition into this root partition did not work. After that, reinstalling the kernel did the trick.
