I run arch compiled from source using abs / srcpac on a Via C3 system. I decided to install archstats on it, but I get:
[ROOT@server:~]# /usr/bin/archstats -u
Corrupted ArchStats Client
The ArchStats Server claims that this program (your ArchStats client) is
not valid. This can occur if you modify the client code, or are running a
very old version. It is recommended that you update your client and try
again.
I am running the most recent version, and haven't touched the client code. Does archstats refuse data from non-i686 systems?

My guess is that it's not an issue with the architecture itself, but possibly that it's checking up on some MD5 checksum somewhere that would indicate an official package. Since you were forced to using abs/srcpac to install it, I would guess that those MD5 values are different now, and prevent you from syncing up with the stats server. I imagine they designed it that way to prevent people from altering the program to have it report erroneous numbers. Couldn't tell you how to get around it though...

I have the same error here. Can someone fix it on the server site?
Tell me, what md5sum you need.

??
As written there a self compiled client won't be accepted. Someone with access on the server should tell me how to get the x86_64 package accepted.

See the bottom of the page that cactus linked you. Neotuli's email is there.
