Firefox with youtube - plays with sound
Steam game - no sound
Close firefox,restart steam
Start game. Game got sound.
Start firefox. Youtube no sound.
Close game. Youtube got sound again.

Any idea how to fix it? Seems to be configuration issue.

Plasma with recent packages.

And yes this dont help: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu … .27s_sound

Re: Problem with multiple sound app output.

Remove any ~/.asoundrc or /etc/asound.conf, install pulseaudio-alsa and lib32-alsa-plugins, reboot retry. If you still have issues post, while having the game (which game?) open

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
pacmd list-sinks
pacmd list-sink-inputs

And terminal output of the game you attempt to start.

Re: Problem with multiple sound app output.

Your fuser output is truncated and the terminal output of the game would be nice.
