Libreoffice dpi/view issues

I am running gnome 3 with wayland I suppose (whatever is default). I am using my integrated intel graphics card if that matters. The problem is libreoffice apps seem to not be using the whole screen and the dpi seems quite high.

Any ideas what I am missing?

Re: Libreoffice dpi/view issues

This seems to be a common issue with gtk3, gnome and wayland.
I had the same problem did you try forcing libreoffice to use gtk2 as suggested in this thread?

I have the same issue,but a little strange occurence.

When i fire

 env SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk libreoffice

From the command line, issue is resolved.

but when i drop the following into the config located at :  /usr/bin/libreoffice

SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN

The issue is not resolved. I also tried the location mentioned on the wiki for a config which has same contents. Located at : usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice

Can any one please suggest what is amiss??

Cheers!
