Where report issues with "reiserfs" (libreadline.so.6 dependecy)

Hey,

I'm not sure where I should report the "bug" of reiserfs and the libreadline.so.6 dependecy. Roughly a week ago a

pacman -Syu

reports at the mkinitcipo -p linux section an error occurs. Execute the command in the shell reports problems with libreadline.so.6 (library is missing). After I'm deinstalling progsreiserfs and reiserfsprogs pacman -Syu works without errors.
So, I do not need ReiserFS support, but perhaps other peoples have or would have the same problem.

Is that a bug or depends of out-dated-package? Where and how I can report that to the developers from ReiserFS or Arch-Linux?

Thank you.

Siassei, it's kind of hard to understand what you are saying. It would be better if you could post actual error messages.

Nothing in either reiserfsprogs or progsreiserfs should depend on libreadline, and nothing from the official repos should depend on libreadline.so.6. Your error is probably being caused by a foreign package. When you reply with the information x33a requested, please also include the output from

pacman -Qm

Re: Where report issues with "reiserfs" (libreadline.so.6 dependecy)

Sorry, guy's.
My first post was not good and information's about the issue is missing. So, I has removed the package "reiserfsprogs" and "reiserfsprogs" few day's ago. After that "mkinitcipo -p linux" runs with out error's about libreadline.so.6.
If I try to reinstall both packages and try to reproduce the error, I cann't get the error again. But I'm pretty sure the package "progsreiserfs" produced the error because the last update of 2013.

Re: Where report issues with "reiserfs" (libreadline.so.6 dependecy)

Neither reiserfsprogs or progsreiserfs have been rebuilt since readline got updated from v6 to v7. If they were causing the errors before you removed them (which they shouldn't be doing, see above), they should still be causing the errors after you reinstall them.

Please post your pacman.log.
