hwd -x error

Hi,
was trying to use the hwd tool to make a xorg.conf file but I get strange messages.

[root@archbox ~]# hwd -x
Generating /etc/X11/xorg.conf.hwd
*** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x08054210 ***
/usr/bin/mkxcfg: line 293:  6496 Aborted                 lshwd -a -ox -m >$LISTFILE
Your sample file is ready.

Any ideas

Re: hwd -x error

Did it create the file?
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.hwd

Currently I am not using my machine, cannot check what causes the error.

Re: hwd -x error

Hi,
yes the xorg.conf.hwd gets made but the section where the card driver is named is missing aka card0
