RX 480 + Mesa & nVidia for nvenc in OBS - Does that work?

The Idea ...
I'd like to use OBS [0] for recording/streaming gpu accelerated content. Right now I got an RX 480 (running Mesa) + 3570k iGP. Just because it's quite hard to get QSV working at the current state and I'm not even sure if there would be a way to integrate it to OBS atm I thought of buying a cheap nVidia GPU (e.g. GT 630 ~ 15 € used) to use it to encode my screen recordings with nvenc.

Questions
* Is it posible to install and use amdgpu and nvidia proprietary drivers side by side? The idea is to game with the RX 480 - also use it's video output for my screens and use the nVidia GPU for encoding.
* Would this be working with OBS? OBS itself supports nvenc as well as FFMPEG does.

Alternative
User a second computer with a capture card. Streaming might be harder that way...

Thanks for any kind of help!
