Kde Plasma causes high CPU usage and removes commands?

Hi,

I got KDE and SDDM installed on my system and it's been working perfectly, but yesterday I noticed a high CPU usage (all cores@100%) due to the processes baloo_file_extr and krunner . I thought a reboot would help but after the reboot some commands like wpa_suppliciant or the /usr/bin/xauth binary were gone!

Then I did format my system partition, reinstalled the whole system, installed KDE and SDDM and strangely enough same behavior (high cpu usage). Again I restarted the system and again the same commands were gone.

I don't know which log file could help here so let me know if you need some.

Here is the tree process list

Thanks in advance and
best Regards

Test your RAM with memtest and check your disks with smartctl, this sounds more like imminent hardware failure than an issue with KDE

Disable the 'File Search' option in settings.
