Arch would be a perfect platform to run MythTV from.
KDE/QT needs to be compiled with mysql support, and then it's basicly just installing the dependencies.
If someone can confirm that arch KDE/QT has mysql support compiled in I can take a shot at creating a package.

There is no Central Comittee to approve it, feel free to give it a try (It was hard enough to install from sources, I doubt I could make packages even if I used a few days).

Actually, with the CVS I was able to get it to compile flawlessly. I PKGBUILD shouldn't be too hard.
Right now I'm having issues with the stock kernel. 2.6.9-1 has a lot of issues, and should probably be rebuilt. I'm off to compile my own kernel now.
