Setting up TP-LINK TL-WN725N

I have a laptop with Arch that I recently clean installed. It had Arch on it before and wifi worked perfectly on it. But now the wireless card doesn't work anymore so I bought a TP-LINK TL-WN725N. I've looked everywhere online and could still not find a solution/way to get it working. It's in the UP state. but it can't find any networks let alone connect to them

thanks

Re: Setting up TP-LINK TL-WN725N

A search on google shows that tl-wn725n uses rtl8188eu.  Either try 1) install manually https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8188eu or 2) see if the aur package works https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8188eu-git/
The AUR is user submitted so you might need to modify the pkgbuild.

Re: Setting up TP-LINK TL-WN725N

I hate to be the noob in this situation but how do I go about manually installing that github repo?

EDIT: nvm I figured it out

Re: Setting up TP-LINK TL-WN725N

I've solved my issue. I installed wpa_gui and that seems to have fixed my issue
