Python and new locale breaks python desktop apps [Solved]

i started using the new locale added in glibc 2.24 en_IL and this breaks python gui apps (comix, steam and dropbox) as the locale has yet to be added to /usr/lib/python2.7/locale.py how do i get the python people to add it?

try setting LANG in locale.conf to en_IL.UTF-8

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
