Re: startx error(fvwm-crystal)

To launch fvwm-crystal, put (*I think*):
fvwm-crystal
in your .xinitrc.

If it doesn't work, post your .xinitrc.

Re: startx error(fvwm-crystal)

Still can't work.

#exec fvwm
#exec fluxbox
#exec kde
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8

export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM
export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim
export QT_IM_MODULE=scim
scim -d
exec fvwm-crystal

#exec dbus-launch gnome-session

BTW, im using arch64, but the package fvwm-crystal is for i686, maybe it's the problem.

My .xinitrc.

That's quite likely. Use the fvwm-crystal PKGBUILD and compile it on your 64bits machine. It'll probably  work without having to change the PKGBUILD.

Re: startx error(fvwm-crystal)

OK, I'll try it later.

I find my fvwm only support xpm files but png ones. Why?

The devel branch of fvwm (2.5.x) supports png images. I don't know which version fvwm-crystal is based on. You can check if png support was compiled in by running 'fvwm -version'.
