I have an ArchLinux in my laptop, in which I get an error before the boot:
usb 1-1.4: device descriptor read/64, error -110
when I do a:
dmesg | grep "usb 1-1.4"
I get:
[ 1.496957] usb 1-1.4: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-pci
[ 2.279324] usb 1-1.4: USB disconnect, device number 3
[ 2.483671] usb 1-1.4: new full-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci
[ 7.597192] usb 1-1.4: device descriptor read/64, error -110
However, I tried to enter to access UEFI System Setup and I switched in the 'USB CONFIGURATION' section at 'XHCI Pre-Boot Mode' from the 'Smart-Auto' option to 'Enabled', and it didn't show up anymore. Then, I didn't get my mouse working, anymore. So I resetted it back as it was. Anyone has some suggestions to give?
