Cinnamon looks wrong

Hello, everyone!

Some time ago cinnamon started to look strange: all dropdown menus became dark (even though they were light) and almost all window styles (I mean those which change appearance of windows' content, not borders) became ugly. The only one which looks normal to me is Adwaita
Here are some examples:

As far as I understand, there were some changes in gtk that broke old themes, but in my case it does not matter if theme is old or updated.
This is wrong, isn't it?

It would be great if someone can explain me what's the problem smile

Re: Cinnamon looks wrong

I will agree that your theme looks funky, with the light and dark all mixed together. The dark background with light text is Cinnamon's default, at least that's how it is on a fresh install. My suggestion would be to delete all the cinnamon setting files in your home folder and start over with the themes.

I personally like light themes, but the one's I've found for cinnamon are all somewhat wonky. Kinda like the system is trying to fight itself.

Re: Cinnamon looks wrong

Sorry, I forgot to write that the problem is not relevant anymore for me since I switched to KDE.
But anyway, thanks for replying!
