Hi all!
I have a problem with dialog boxes in Eclipse having broken layouts, such as this:
Generally it affects important buttons in the bottom-right corner. Sometimes they aren't visible at all and I just have to hit Enter, guessing that I'm activating the right one.
I'm using Eclipse Neon 4.6.2 and my desktop environment is GNOME 3.22.2; GTK is at version 3.22.5 (these are all latest versions in the repos at time of writing). I'm not sure if I should try downgrading things, and if so, which packages? I can't find this bug reported anywhere.
EDIT: As described below, a temporary workaround is to disable GTK3 by starting Eclipse with this command:
env SWT_GTK3=0 eclipseLast edited by Archimaredes (2016-12-28 17:20:12)

I don't use Eclipse but I've had similar sorts of issues with the GTK+ 3 version of LibreOffice. Maybe you should just try disabling GTK+ 3 in Eclipse as per this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ec … e_GTK.2B_3

Thanks, that does fix it! I would submit a bug, but new users on the Eclipse Bugzilla site need specific permission from the webmaster, which I don't have. If anyone finds a listed bug matching the issue I'd be grateful. I can't find one.
