My Box:
[user@pc ~]$ uname -a
Linux boolean-pc 4.4.39-1-lts #1 SMP Thu Dec 15 21:10:18 CET 2016 x86_64 GNU/LinuxI recently wrote a script to utilize rsync to synchronize files from my Arch system to my SD Card on my Mobile - Motorola G3
On mounting using jmtpfs and listing directory contents I get the following:
[user@pc ~]$ ls /media/G3/
'Internal storage' 'Samsung SD card'I used rsync to sync the files into the 'Samsung SD Card'
During the sync process I can see the files being created in the 'Samsung SD Card' through rox
After completion of the synchronization, when I explore my phone using a browser on Android, I found that all the files had been copied into the Internal Storage. I haven't been able to find any specific setting on the phone regarding the same also.
Just to clarify, I created a file manually using rox inside the 'Samusung SD Card' and when I checked through the phone it again landed in the internal storage.
I am guessing this has something to do with how mtp showcases internal storage to the PC. Any workarounds?
