Everytime I suspend my computer or even by turning on/off my wifi using the special key (fn+toggle wireless key, fn+F2). I'm getting this output from dmesg | grep "usb 3-1.4":
usb 3-1.4: USB disconnect, device number 3then after reconnecting it back:
usb 3-1.4: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-pciif I do however dmesg | grep error:
usb 3-1.4: device not accepting address 7, error -32everytime I switch it off and back on again I get another similar error, so:
[ 3052.608314] usb 3-1.4: device not accepting address 7, error -32
[ 3203.640103] usb 3-1.4: device not accepting address 10, error -32anyone knows how to solve these two errors, which will be three, four, five, six or many other depending on how much I suspend/switch off or back on my wifi? Thanks in advance.

Do you have any actual problems? Dis/re-connects on STR are rather common.
If a single USB device doesn't behave, it might help to un- and reload high level drivers around the STR to prevent pollution of the USB stack.
The errors look a bit like the device is either peaking power comsumption or accessed before ready, but if there's no consequence to that, you can just ignore it.
Oh, and "lsusb -v"/"lspci -v" please (in code tags)

First of all, thank you for your assist/patience. Secondly, I don't have any actual problem. How can I un- and reload high level drivers around the STR to prevent pollution of the USB stack?

Any help is appreciated!

Rule #1: if not broken, don't fix it ;-)
-110 is an I/O error - if it happened to the very same device on the very same incident, that will have happen to be for the very same cause and by changing the init scheme, you simply swapped one error for the other
Why do you think it's your network? Ethernet and WiFi are on PCI, there's a mouse and a webcam on the usb bus. Is the device in question a usb network dongle (which doesn't show up in your list)?
Does the usb device really directly react on rfkill (try "dmesg -w")?

Yes, it is. I did dmesg -w, then I switched off the Wifi using fn+f2 and it instantly showed me this:

Ok, that's more like a follow up thing, the actual problem is the crashing wifi driver (on rfkill) which causes a complete shutdown to prevent further mess: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/4141001/
You got to work on the ath9k module (options) - if there's anything that can be done.
a) Are you using an automating network service (netctl auto@*, networkmanager, ... ie. how do you configure your network?)
=> shut that down first
b) Try the nohwcrypt, ps_enable, btcoex_enable and bt_ant_diversity module options
c) experiment w/ rfkill, try soft killing only

The first time I configured my wifi was:
wifi-menu -o # it saved me my configuration file
netctl enable config_file # config_file saved from wifi-menuI'm a neophyte with arch, so I don't really know how to do it. How should I enable the nohwcrypt, ps_enable, btcoex_enable and bt_ant_diversity module options? How could I shutdown my network service?

Check for possible network services:
systemctl list-units | grep -iE '(net|dhcp)'Like on any distro, you can pass the module parameters to modprobe, the kernel cmdline or some /etc/modprobe.conf/ath9k.conf, eg.
options ath9k nohwcrypt=1 ps_enable=0 btcoex_enable=0 bt_ant_diversity=1You can query all options for a module with "modinfo <module_name>"

Oh, and I've added these parameters in kernel cmdline:
ath9k.nohwcrypt=1 ath9k.ps_enable=0 ath9k.btcoex_enable=0 ath9k.bt_ant_diversity=1and did a:
sudo grub-mkconfig && sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfgbut nothing changed at reboot. So I've removed them and did again a grub-mkconfig.

There's only the wifi-menu service; you could "sudo netctl stop-all", but I doubt that's really it.
You btw. don't have to go for grub-mkconfig but can simply edit the grub commandline (select and press "e") if you want to play with this, but you're likely simply facing a bug with the driver/hw combo and the error messages basically tell you "sth. bad happened, but i fixed it for you", so the solution is to take a deep breath and look the other side.

Yes, it's a bug. However, yesterday when I installed ArchLinux with Gnome I didn't have this error. Then I reinstalled it with a WM for a bullsh,it I did, and I was getting this problem, then I reinstalled again with my WM and I'm still getting this problem.
Probably Gnome uses a different network manager... Do you have an idea how can I fix it? However, you mentioned me this bug: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/4141001/ , I haven't a Mac. But it seems to be something relevant to my bug, what should I do with that patch?

The patch mitigates the problem by resetting everything - it's in the kernel since 2014 and what you see as "error" messages here.
Gnome uses networkmanager, but you can use that with every desktop.
As mentioned, you can stop and start the network around this, try
sudo netctl stop-allthen suspend/resume or rfkill,
sudo netctl start my-Internet-30199055afterwards (get the actual name from "netctl list") and see whether you're still facing any of these error messages. But the linked patch really confirms they're "harmless".

Nothing to do.
