Hi all,
I have a Acer Aspire E14 and I have a fresh arch install. I'm now working on installing NVIDIA, then I found out about this thing about having 2 GPUs, and when I checked my laptop it kind of have 2 but I can't be sure because I'm not that well versed with graphics stuff. I tried reading online but I'm not that confident which of the 2 guides I should follow.
Output of lspci -k | grep -A 2 -E "(VGA|3D)":
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 5500 (rev 09)
Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device 096a
Kernel driver in use: i915
--
04:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208M [GeForce 920M] (rev a1)
Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] Device 096b
Kernel driver in use: nouveau
Thank you.
