Plasma and OpenGL V-sync options causing cursor distortions/crashing

Running the i915 driver / module on an Intel Corporation Atom/Celeron/Pentium Processor x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Series platform.
I'm unable to find any obvious log entries that point to it. Anyone else seen this issue?

Re: Plasma and OpenGL V-sync options causing cursor distortions/crashing

If you use the xf86-video-intel Xorg driver, remove it and any configuration of it and try again. xf86-video-intel has always had numereous issues with Plasma/Kwin most of which aren't present if one uses the modesetting driver built into Xorg.
