I'm pretty sure that the stable versions of Conky are good enough. The SVN updates so much that it would waste a lot of time putting it in community.

Isn't conky in [extra] now? I can't imagine CVS is that different from current on conky is it? It's a pretty small project and they release pretty quickly, no?

Also, generally, having CVS/SVN apps in the official repos is not encouraged but I guess a big vote would give a decent case
