I noticed that hwd has been updated so that it now calls lshwd without the -n option. Does this mean that the -n option is superfluous, or is this only done to get around the bug in lshwd? If the latter (but not the former) is true, would it not make more sense to fix lshwd rather than hacking around on hwd? (Note that a proposed fix for lshwd has been sitting in the bugtracker for many weeks, without any comments as to why it has not been adopted.)

Its to get around the bug. Not a good solution but until lshwd is fixed. I have contacted z4ziggy.

Well, in that case I'll keep the old hwd version and use my own modified lshwd for now.
