Fail to install emacs-julia-mode

Hey everyone,

I want to install ESS for Emacs (emacs-ess-git). The problem is, that I receive this error message:
makepkg -rsi
error: target not found: emacs-julia-mode

If I install the emacs-julia-mode package seperatly I've got this error message:

makepkg -rsi
==> ERROR: source should be an array

I have no idea, what I should do now. Maybe someone can help me out. Thanks smile

Re: Fail to install emacs-julia-mode

The first error is because makepkg cannot install packages from the AUR, so you need to build and install emacs-julia-mode manually first (ideally you should use --asdeps option to let pacman know that this package is being installed as a dependency for another package). The second error is because the PKGBUILD for emacs-julia-mode is written incorrectly. You can fix it yourself by making the source variable into an array (add an open parenthesis after the equals and close parenthesis at the end of the declaration), but let the maintainer know that they should fix the package as well.
