I'm trying to make the watch-dir feature work, but to no avail.
I've tried both options mentioned on the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tr … #Watch_dir): watch-dir option in settings.json & setting the -c flag in systemd unit.
Here's an excerpt of my transmission-daemon settings.json:
....
"watch-dir": "/mnt/dl/torrents",
"watch-dir-enabled": true
}And here's the the result of systemctl cat transmission.service:
# /usr/lib/systemd/system/transmission.service
[Unit]
Description=Transmission BitTorrent Daemon
After=network.target
[Service]
User=transmission
Type=notify
ExecStart=/usr/bin/transmission-daemon -f --log-error
ExecReload=/bin/kill -s HUP $MAINPID
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
# /etc/systemd/system/transmission.service.d/override.conf
[Service]
ExecStart=
ExecStart=/usr/bin/transmission-daemon -f --log-error -c /mnt/dl/torrents/mnt/dl/ is an nfs share mounted by fstab. It is accessible by all (chmod 777 - yes I know it's bad). .torrents files in /mnt/dl/torrents are added by another computer, but they are world-readable (chmod 644)
The system is up-to-date, a raspberry pi 3 using aarch64.
Any idea on why it's not picking up new torrents files ?
