HIDPI - LUKS Crypto password prompt

Hi,

Another HIDPI question.  I've modified my config per the HiDPI wiki article so that my console font is readable; however, when I boot and am prompted for my disk encryption password, it is using a tiny font still.  Any tips / tricks on how I can sort that out?

Thanks in advance!

Re: HIDPI - LUKS Crypto password prompt

I've also modified my console font and grub font size per the wiki, but the decryption prompt is still unreadably small.

I thought that maybe putting consolefont before encrypt for mkinitcpio would help, but it turns out that I already had it like that..

To check if the consolefont is on the initramfs:

lsinitcpio /boot/initramfs-linux.img | grep consolefont

Re: HIDPI - LUKS Crypto password prompt

Thanks teateawhy

# lsinitcpio /boot/initramfs-linux.img | grep consolefont
consolefont.psf
hooks/consolefont

It looks like that is the case for me..?
