[SOLVED] Plasma 5 - GTK Themeing of GIMP Inconsistent

Hello, in the Settings>Application style in Plasma 5 I have specified qt5gtk2 in Widget Style, and in the GNOME Application Style section I chose Arc Dark for GTK 2/3 theme. Everytime I log in to the Plasma session, GIMP correctly loads the Arc theme when it's clicked from the launcher. However, it chooses the default GNOME plain theme if I right click an image and click select open with GIMP. Sometimes it reverts on its own for another reason.

Or, sometimes GIMP segfaults and fails to open too.

One last issue related to GIMP, in Settings>Applications>File Associations I cannot set it as an option to open for example a .png with GIMP without it automatically reverting to being the default app to open a .png (so I "Move Down" GIMP, press Apply, then when I come back to the file type it is the #1 option again). I want to have it as an option but by default I want to use EOM.

Edit: Solved by reverting to default GIMP theme from a custom one.
