I purchased a Brother dcpt300 printer/scanner and there is no PKGBUILD for the driver.
I've looked at this page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … ers#x86_64, but it's way out of my league and even the wiki page says "Brother's drivers have some issues" which complicate the process.
There are printer and scanner drivers in rpm and deb formats available at http://support.brother.com/g/b/download … ng=English.
There is also a CUPS driver printer wrapper source codes: http://support.brother.com/g/b/download … &type3=576
If anyone can help me, it would be very much appreciated. If you need any further information, I will do my best to provide it.

I managed to install it following the instructions here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1682933
I know using dpkg isn't the recommended way to do it . . . but it worked.
