Gnome 3 not interacting with CUPS

Hello everyone,

I can't make gnome or any app recognize my printer. Altough I have the cups service enabled.

-> % systemctl status -l org.cups.cupsd
● org.cups.cupsd.service - CUPS Scheduler
   Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/org.cups.cupsd.service; disabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: active (running) since Thu 2017-01-12 12:12:38 WET; 3h 34min ago
     Docs: man:cupsd(8)
 Main PID: 10092 (cupsd)
   Status: "Scheduler is running..."
    Tasks: 1 (limit: 4915)
   Memory: 2.9M
      CPU: 26ms
   CGroup: /system.slice/org.cups.cupsd.service
           └─10092 /usr/bin/cupsd -l

Jan 12 12:12:38 vegeta systemd[1]: Starting CUPS Scheduler...
Jan 12 12:12:38 vegeta systemd[1]: Started CUPS Scheduler.

I have the print backends installed.

-> % pacman -Ss gtk3-print-backends
extra/gtk3-print-backends 3.22.6-1 (gnome) [installed]
    Print backends for GTK3

yet this is all I get:

Note that I can access the web interface of CUPS, and successfully add the printer, even print a test page, neither apps can see it.

EDIT: Here is my /etc/cups/cupsd.conf:
