[Solved] Monitor going to sleep after install section screen

I'm unable to install arch (UEFI, USB) due to my monitor going to sleep after the install selection screen. Multiple USB ports and flash drives have been tried. Screens don't wake up after typing.
I'm currently using a Nvidia 970 with Two monitors.  One connects via DVI and the other a TV connects via HDMI. I have tried each one by its self with no joy. I've had no problems in the past installing.
I have tried installing with the USB's on a laptop which worked as it should.

Is there anything else I could try that should work. Currently don't have a CD or DVD drives.

Re: [Solved] Monitor going to sleep after install section screen

Do you have an integrated GPU?
Maybe just plug in one Monitor at a time - it seems like the tv is the first screen and the commandline is displayed there.
If that doesn't work, try nomodeset as kernel option!

Yep tried just the monitor and the port on the motherboard still no display.
In the end I found some old install notes where I had the same problem before, the answer as you said, press Tab on install menu and type in nomodeset which solved the problem.
Now I just need some time so I can start the install.
