[SOLVED]Unable to check properties of a file

Hello,

I'm using nautilus as the file manager in gnome.I am able to check the properties of a dir, but when i check it for a file, the window closes ubruptly.
I launched nautilus from terminal to check what is happening, looks like i'm getting a segmentation fault when ever i'm checking for a file!.
How can i solve this:)

What segmentation fault? Please post the full output.
Also try to check the properties with 'ls -l' just to make sure the problem lies with Nautilus.

Re: [SOLVED]Unable to check properties of a file

'ls -l' works fine,
seg_fault

Well, looks like my timezone was wrong.I changed it, and now it works fine.I looked for the complete output only after you asked me to.#stupidity
