Screen brightness and fan issue

I was watching something and accidently pressed the switch displays key and it changed all the resolution settings.
I am trying everything but it's still not good and make  me head\eye ache.
I also think that the fan is working harder.
what can I do?
everything is up to date.
i have toshiba p50t-b laptop
ati installed
