I started with 0.7.1 but since Arch is a rolling release distribution, numbers really dont mean jack. People might run away thinking Arch is still in testing stage, but the release number just represents the maturity of the installer, correct?
But I suppose it could help Arch's growth if Judd were to market the next release or w/e as version 1.0, simular to what Patrick did with Slackware?

Xaero, the numbers represent the level of initscripts!
Also People come searching for arch, not vice versa, so dont mind the silly numbers 0.7 or 1.0

I got 0.5 installed on my system, and never tried another distro, didn't remember exactly which year it was. Before that, I have tried Red hat two years ago, then mandrake, slackware, Arch should be my the last distro. Now I have only Arch in my home box, no other OS, however I have to use Window XP in office, sad.

Noodle for me and after some twiddling with the x, the locale and cd burning I think I found the perfect distro for me.
First I used mandriva le 2005 for 8 months, then ubuntu (breezy and dapper)1 month, tried debian a bit, puppy linux, slax, and knoppix livecds and dsl. I will keep dsl, slax and puppy, but I dont think I will try more rpm based nor debian based, at least for my own system. But for others I'm happy if they run linux.

0.7.1 Noodle, I believe, I started it the day before gimmic was released and therefore I suppose I could just say that I started out with 0.7.2 Gimmic just depends apon your point of view I suppose.
