$ smc

Re: smc runtime error

smc is not in the repos. When libraries are updated, it's your responsibility to rebuild any foreign/AUR packages you might have, as well as anything outside of pacman.

Re: smc runtime error

Is there a way that I can recompile all the aur packages using yaourt single command to make it fast, whenever required? And how will I be saving all the sources in the local?

Thankyou

Re: smc runtime error

Assuming all foreign packages are in the AUR following should do it. (no warranties wink )

yaourt -S $(pacman -Qmq)

To save the packages and sources see yaourt's --export option.

Re: smc runtime error

Since you seem determined to use yaourt, check it's man page or help text. I believe it has a setting for the download/build location, and there may be a flag to tell it to rebuild all foreign packages.
