[solved] How to install and configure wine

Hello everyone , I have insatlled arch linux with kde desktop environment and I have nouveau graphics drivers .I wanted to know how to insatll configure and use wine as the wiki throws lots of stuff its a bit confusing .

I just installed wine ,wine gecko ,winetricks ,wine mono and tried to run an application .Is it neccessary to configure wine or is it by default ? I just dont know which steps to follow and which not to
