thunderbird and localization

I have mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-thunderbird-pl installed. I have LANG and LC_ALL set to pl_PL, firefox works in Polish, but thunderbird is still in english. I can't find anything about languages in preferences. How to enable polish localization in thunderbird?

Re: thunderbird and localization

This is bugging me too, why can't Thunderbird and Firefox just integrate with the desktop, using the same language and icons as every other app. If every app needed to be treated with special care, and be individually themed it would take ages. Anyway, one solution is using -UILocale.

This meade me switch to evolution(thunderbird even need its own dictionary!!), and I am trying out epiphany when ever it is released, but unfortunately it falls behind compared to ff.

Could you explain what exactly the solution is? Or point me to any info about it.
