I have spent the fast few days trying to get Wifi to work and I've searched everywhere and I'm still unable to solve my issue. So far, I've been able to use Ethernet but I still need Wifi.
When I type iwconfig in the terminal:
lo no wireless extensions.
enp0s20f0u2 no wireless extensions.
I do not get an output for "iw dev" nor do I get one for "netctl list"
When i list all PCI devices connected I recieve this:
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Limited BCM43602 802.11ac >Wireless LAN SoC (rev 01)
Subsystem: Dell Device 0024
Kernel modules: brcmfmac, wl
When I run "lspci -vvnn | grep -A 9 Network" I get this:

I've installed wpa_supplicant and networkmanager. I've also installed broadcom-wl-dkms. None of these things have helped. Wifi worked seamlessly with Ubuntu, any other suggestions?

Check which modules are loaded with Ubuntu and copy any /etc/modprobe.d configurations that may be enabling that functionality, perhaps?
Broadcom's crap anyway, why not just buy a better card?
EDIT: Silly me, we really need to see the output of:
ip list
systemctl list-unit-files --state=enabled
Also, please use code tags rather than quote tags when posting terminal output.

What happens if you
sudo modprobe -v wl
The only modprobe.d conf file that is installed on Ubuntu with the bcmwl package is one that blacklists b43, ssb, bcma, brcmsmac, brcmfmac, and it will blacklist b44 if it finds that module loaded

Welcome to Arch Linux.
Your device seems to be supported by the brcmfmac driver. I assume you have worked your way through this wiki article
What is the output of lsmod ?

I found the corresponding driver for my netowrk controller which is "brcmfmac" the wiki says it comes pre-intaslled with the kernel but it wasn't working. I donwloaded the driver from AUR and it stitll isn't working.

Uninstall broadcom-wl-dkms and reboot as the package likely created a blacklist file that should be removed when it in uninstalled

I have the same laptop and my wifi works without any tweaks needed. Using networkmanager.
For info, I get the same error message that you get with 'sudo modprobe -v wl'.
Did you try to get the wifi working using the install iso (using the 'wifi-menu' command)?

Hello, Did you solve the issue? I am having same issue.

This is highly unlikely to still be the same issue after 2 years, please don't necrobump, open up your own thread including information from your own system.
Closing this old thread.
