Font or encoding pictogram problem on webpage

Hi,

Because English is not my native language, I am sorry if I make mistakes and I hope the following will still remain understandable.

I have a problem to correctly display some web page characters on firefox and chromium.
Parts of these web pages are shown as kind of pictogram(triangle, snow flacon, etc) . Here is a screenshot of what I can see : http://imgur.com/a/mgev2
It seem I have this "bug" when there is attribute lang="en" on the web page but I don't know how to solve it?

I tried  to delete /var/cache/fonts, similar thing in ~/.cache and in firefox parameters (content tab) but the problem still remains the same.

Do you have any ideas?
Thank you.
