Hi All,

I had a feature request and made an account at https://bugs.archlinux.org/, but I cannot log in.

I tried several times, also removing special characters from my generated password and
still no luck...  Do I have to wait some time before it becomes possible?

PS: Sorry if this is not the right forum!

I don't remember if there's a confirmation email or something, but there's no waiting period. I see no users with the "akit" username, what did you register?

I  reciebed confirmation emails when I tried to change my passowrd because I thought
it might contain illegal characters or be too long.

the username I registered under is AKLT

It is there, not sure if it just showed up or if I fat-fingered the username somehow.

Account is enabled and in the correct group. Email is gmail, so that should be fine. I do remember something about a limit to the number of characters in the password, maybe you're running into that. Let me see what I can find.

Nice, thanks for the info.  I could also shorten my password, I tried a couple of times, but
gave up whith a 32 character alphanumeric password.

Last comment says the limit is 30, so you were almost there.
