[Solved] Mobile GTX 1060 wont turn off with bbswitch

I'm using bumblebee with the nvidia drivers following the documentation on the wiki. When my laptop boots, the discrete gpu is indeed off:

$ cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch
0000:01:00.0 OFF

However, after running any application with optirun bbswitch can't turn nvidia off:

$ optirun glxgears
[VGL] ERROR: in readback--
[VGL]    254: Window has been deleted by window manager

$ cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch
0000:01:00.0 ON

#tee /proc/acpi/bbswitch<<<OFF
OFF

$ cat /proc/acpi/bbswitch
0000:01:00.0 ON

dmseg give me this:

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the new pascal architecture or if I messed something up.

As stated here the problem was TLP.

Edited the file tlp configuration file and everything is ok. Please close the thread
