Where is PyKDE4

Hi,

I cannot find the PyKDE4 module anymore. It seems like it was in the kdebindings package which now is not existing anymore.
Is there any replacement for that?

Re: Where is PyKDE4

No, there's no replacement, KDE4 is deprecated. You can get the old PKGBUILD from svn:

Re: Where is PyKDE4

That's a bit unfortunate since the python equivalent for plasma5 is still in development, so all my scripts don't run anymore :\

I am relatively inexperienced with python, so please correct me if I am wrong, but could you install it through pip?

Re: Where is PyKDE4

When I understand it correctly, pyKF5 should become the replacement for pyKDE4. But there are no tutorials and there is no documentation. Does anyone knows a good introduction into pyKF5?

AFAIK pyKF5 simply implements the Frameworks C++ API in Python (via sip). So the Frameworks apidocs should work as a reference for PyKF5 too.
