MBP 12,1 Return from hibernate, no wi-fi

My broadcom card isn't visible to the OS on return from hibernate. I still have my systemd unit that unloads brcmfmac before hibernate, and unloads it and reloads on return from hiberate.
Without this unit, return from hibernate fails completely and I get a bunch of random color pixels in the corner of the screen.
On return from hibernate, ip link returns only the loopback device. I also get the following dmesg output:

pciehp: Device 0000:07:00.0 alread exists at 0000:07:00, cannot hot-add
usb_reset_and_verify_device Failed to disable LTM
brcmfmac: brcmf_chip_recognition: chip backplane type 15 is not supported
brcmfmac: brcmf_pcie_probe: failed 14e4:43ba
usb usb2-port3: cannot disable (err = -32)

Re: MBP 12,1 Return from hibernate, no wi-fi

Similar issue on GPD Win after upgrading with pacman -Syyu. Kernel v4.9.11 - > v4.10.1. At boot:

[ 4.512113] usbcore: registered new interface driver brcmfmac
[    4.512164] brcmfmac 0000:01:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
[ 4.512307] brcmfmac: brcmf_chip_recognition: chip backplane type 15 is not supported
[    4.512325] brcmfmac: brcmf_pcie_probe: failed 14e4:43ec

OP, do you have any steps to workaround?
