Font Problem

In Arch 0.7.2 (gimmick) , when I try to login using the kdm window, all I type is converted into small squares and I get the msg "login failed".
How to correct this ?

If you install xorg-fonts-misc, xorg-fonts-75dpi for example maybe will help you.

I used pacman -Suy xorg and it installed everything I suppose.
