Possible problem in nvidia drivers too, but it was working until yesterday.

Any ideas?

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to login possibly after GDM upgrade

Uh...embarrassing. I was just trying to log in with gnome instead of gnome on Xorg. Which I knew wouldn't work, but somehow the user set back to after the last reboot. Strange (on the other hand, before I blame some upgrade issue again, I have a 5 year old son roaming the house)

Probably the same as this:

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221512

(I also got this error when trying to set up a new system today)

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to login possibly after GDM upgrade

I ran into the same issue and could also resolve it by setting the session to GNOME on Xorg. However, I am quite sure that prior to the last update, it would automatically fallback to GNOME on Xorg, even when the standard GNOME session was selected, so something must have changed.

Cheers,
