[ffmpeg/audio] aac: element type mismatch 1 != 0

Using smplayer with mpv as a backend, I checked the mpv log and found this error message:
[ffmpeg/audio] aac: element type mismatch 1 != 0

I experimented with several mp4 and mkv files. It seems the error occurs only when playing certain mkv files. The video and audio playback still seems perfect.

What does the error message mean? I couldn't find any answers on google.

A literal google search for that exact message leads to https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/5163 which leads to http://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg.git;a … e43f7d984d Conclusion: This is a harmless message and it's output will be removed in the next ffmpeg release to ease your conscience. I'm really curious how you did not find anything with Google this was literally the first hit here
