Nvidia, GLX and Second User (:1.0)

Hi all,

I'm using the nvidia drivers with XFCE and lightDM. In the past this has been fine but for the past month or so I've had an unusual problem. The first user (:0.0) has GLX but when a second user brings up a second graphical display, they don't have GLX. For the second user, glxinfo complains that the extension GLX is not available on display :1.0. I find this in the relevant X log:

(EE) /dev/dri/card0: failed to set DRM interface version 1.4: Permission denied

Later:

(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering

Anyone have any ideas?
