Hallo,
i have 'xfce4-notifyd.service' and 'gvfs-metadata.service' installed and i can see them with 'systemctl status'. But when i invoke a 'systemctl status xfce4-notifyd.service' i get a "Unit xfce4-notifyd.service could not be found". I've also tried 'systemctl --all |grep -i notifyd' or 'systemctl list-unit-files |grep -i notifyd' or 'systemctl list-unit-files |grep -i xfce'. Outputs nothing.
I can see the unit file in 'pacman -Ql xfce4-notifyd' in '/usr/lib/systemd/user/xfce4-notifyd.service' and its editable with 'cat /usr/lib/systemd/user/xfce4-notifyd.service'.
Why can't i read/access them with 'systemctl'?

It's a user service (--user), not a system service.

Indeed, thx.
Is it possible (maybe with an option/config) to have 'systemctl status xfce4-notifyd.service' handle both (user/system)? I'm not sure how often i trapped into that already...
