Hi guys,
I didn't use my computer for the weekend. When I returned today, 'startx' isn't working anymore. I have an AMD graphics card with catalyst-stable installed.
I get this error in /var/log/Xorg.0.log :
atiddxDriScreenInit failed. Probably kernel module missing or incompatible.
kernel module (fglrx.ko) may be missing or incoompatible
Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0
fglrx(0): firregl_SetSuspendResumeState FAILED -9.
I remember that i updated my linux-headers from 4.9 to 4.10.
So the first thing I did was downgrading the kernel and check if its working with: pacman -U package-name.pgk.tar.gz
But after doing this nothing had changed. Although I am wondering because when typing 'uname -r' it still said, that I use kernel 4.10. (any explanation? what was I doing wrong?)
When trying 'fglrx' in terminal I get:
-bash fglrx: command not found
also 'fglrxinfo' and 'glxinfo' give me this:
Error: unable to open display (null)
Does anyone know what I could do? Am a little bit lost here. Thanks!

after downgrading/upgrading kernel you have to reboot.
Mesa 17.0.1-2 is not compatible with catalyst, which version of mesa do you have installed ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
