up to date (as of 3/14/2017)

PROBLEM
Logged into my gmail.com account.
Assume I have one folder with saved emails named "ABCD"
(i.e., label:ABCD)
On the left side where the folder ABCD is displayed,
if I left-click to open the folder, I just get a
"floating" label which follows the cursor (i.e., the
folder NEVER opens (as normal and expected)).
google-chrome-stable 57.0.2987.98
Vivaldi 1.7.735.46
(both downloaded/updated/installed through AUR)
The problem (malfunction) is relatively new.
It did NOT use to happen in (the latest versions I know of):
google-chrome-stable 56.0.2924.87
Vivaldi 1.1.453.59
(and earlier versions)
It has NEVER happened in Firefox (installed through pacman -S)
including the latest, version 52.0
NOTES
1. It is definitely NOT a Gmail problem.
See above, and never on IE/Win10 (same system, different partition)
2. Even in the "problem" browsers (chrome and vivaldi), I can still
get to the "problem" folder by typing,
label:ABCD
3. For clarity I described the problem for just one folder (ABCD)
It happens identically with any folders, EFGH, IJKL, etc.
