Due to ca-certificates file name conflict I deleted /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt and of course the system's ssl stopped working.
I reinstalled ca-certifcates but any https arch mirror gets me this type of error:
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db' from archlinux.surlyjake.com : SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate.
I know I shouldn't have deleted these files willy nilly, but I can't find a solution to fix this anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

I already have the latest packages installed but ssl is still broken.

Downgrade, follow instructions, prosper.
CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck • AUR packages • Zsh and other configs

I removed the package and reinstalled it, before posting.

The post_install() that was responsible for creating the symlink belongs to the package ca-certificates-utils. Reinstall that one or just recreate the symlink.

Thanks, that fixed it.
Marking as solved.
